Where others tiptoe,

we dive in.

Hello!

We’re Eaman Fahmy & Caitlin Villeneuve, co-founders of HUSH&HUM Consulting.

We bring expertise, structure, & a lot of heart to our work. We’re told we have “dragon energy” – strong, fiery & kind. We’ve also been called loving, hopeful, nonjudgmental, and very funny. (We do laugh a lot.) This work is hard, but it doesn’t have to be big, hairy, and scary. We help make it feel accessible, human, & maybe even a little joyful.

Our workshops, facilitation, and strategic support are grounded in anti-racist, anti-oppressive (ARAO) frameworks, interactive learning, and the courage to try (even imperfectly). We believe in the goodness of people and the clarity that comes from seeing the systems at play — because once you truly see them, it’s our shared humanity that calls us to ask: now what?

We think revolution happens in the space between quiet reflection (HUSH) & meaningful action (HUM). That’s where we work; with teams ready to do things differently, not just talk about it.

Our values

  • We center empathy in everything we do by listening & speaking with compassion, holding deep care for one another in all our humanness.

We honour collective well-being by practicing a decolonized approach and by committing to justice.

We lead with generosity & understanding because connection is the foundation of social change.

  • We bring toys, games, and a sense of fun into our work, even when the work is hard. We embrace joy and creativity as tools for engagement, problem-solving, and connection.

We welcome laughter & levity as essential parts of the process. By sharing moments of humour, we build trust & resilience.

  • We’re not experts. We know that wisdom is shared, not owned. We challenge hierarchies and embrace a decolonized approach to learning & leadership.

We ask questions, always seeking to deepen our understanding and improve our work. We commit to lifelong learning.

  • We take risks, even when it’s uncomfortable - real change requires stepping into the unknown. We engage in hard conversations with the courage to speak truthfully & the grace to listen wholeheartedly.

We recognize that mistakes are part of the learning process. We take the time to understand each other, offering patience and care in challenging moments.

  • “Working with Eaman and Caitlin feels like being met with both honesty and deep care. They make brave conversations possible, and they do it in a way that draws people in rather than shutting them down. Their ability to guide, hold space, and walk with community is powerful and deeply needed. The impact stays with you long after a session ends, in how people reflect, relate, and move through the world. I'm grateful for their presence in this work.”
